“The Truth Shall Set You Free”
The Freedom-Farm and its associated website were conceived as teaching aids in independent, self-sufficiency living. As humanity moves rapidly away from natural living and more towards dependency upon unreliable government agencies and artificial constructs for its basic survival needs, a gaping hole is left where thousands of years of accumulated knowledge and wisdom once guided succeeding generations. Seeing this as a monumental tragedy more threatening to the survival of our species than anything else in our time, we offer our pitifully inadequate but sincere effort to provide a repository of down to earth, practical, experience proven, solutions to various life issues. You will find articles and links to information relating to a broad range of topics, including growing and preserving your own food, building your own home, preparing and using your own medicines, soap making, homesteading and simplifying your life and living within your means – as you seek and follow your own Truth.
TRUTH is within ourselves; it takes no rise
From outward things, whate’er you may believe.
There is an inmost centre in us all,
Where truth abides in fullness; and around,
Wall upon wall, the gross flesh hems it in,
This perfect, clear perception—which is truth.
A baffling and perverting carnal mesh
Binds it, and makes all error: and, to KNOW,
Rather consists in opening out a way
Whence the imprisoned splendour may escape,
Than in effecting entry for a light
Supposed to be without. Robert Browning, excerpt from Paracelsus

In need of a home, with no means with which to purchase or rent one, a miracle of Faith, hard work and perseverance provided one from the dirt of the ground upon which it now stands.
Henry David Thoreau , in his book "Walden", perfectly expressed the mindset we desire to achieve:
"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of a higher order of beings. In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under the
For like-minded individuals, disillusioned with the “reality” presented by our modern world, we offer here a little bit of encouragement. Seek, and follow that still, small voice within, and you will find the freedom you desire.

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
“Behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)

A few of the scents available:

*CEDARWOOD/SAGE: Traditionally used to soothe and uplift both body and mind.
*EUCALYPTUS: Traditionally used for sinus congestion, arthritis and muscle pain.
*HEMP-PATCHOULI: Warm musky scent, traditionally used to mask odors and soften wrinkles. Hemp enhances the emollient properties.
